Tracking Parameters

Document key environmental parameters for each enclosure:

  • Temperature - Hot spot and cool side readings
  • Humidity - Current humidity level
  • Lighting - UVB and heat lamp schedules
  • Substrate - Type and last change date

Equipment Notes

Use the notes field to track:

  • Heating equipment (heat mats, CHE, heat lamps)
  • Lighting types and schedules
  • Thermostats and controllers
  • Hygrometers and monitoring equipment
  • Maintenance schedules (substrate changes, deep cleaning)

💡 Pro Tip: Regular Checks

Log temperature and humidity readings regularly in your notes to track seasonal variations and equipment performance. This helps you catch issues before they affect your animals.

Assigning Reptiles

While you can't directly assign reptiles to enclosures within the enclosure interface, you can note which reptiles are housed in each enclosure in the notes field. This helps you:

  • Track which animals share housing
  • Plan quarantine and separation
  • Manage space allocation

Maintenance Tracking

Use enclosure records to track maintenance activities:

  • Spot cleaning schedule
  • Deep cleaning dates
  • Substrate replacement
  • Equipment maintenance or replacement
  • Décor sanitization

🔧 Maintenance Reminder

Set up custom Care Reminders for enclosure maintenance tasks like substrate changes, deep cleaning, or equipment checks. This ensures nothing gets forgotten!
